New Inn, 16, 18 and 20, Northgate Street - Gloucester
Mid C15 inn. Four timber-framed ranges around a central courtyard forming the most complete example of a medieval courtyard inn with galleries. In partial use but areas of the building are in poor repair due to long periods of neglect. Some repairs and maintenance ongoing with current owners. Repairs following a fire in 2018 have highlighted the poor condition of the building. Repairs are especially needed to the timber frame along the north elevation.
