Church of St Michael, Stragglethorpe Lane, Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe - North Kesteven
Parish church with fabric from C11 and late C12, restored c.1980. The church lacks rainwater goods, which is causing internal damp, efflorescence and epilithic growths on the internal walls and floors. Drainage is ineffective, as it is full of gravel and detritus. There is moderate structural movement, causing external and internal cracking at wall junctions, soffits and reveals, with associated bulging of the north aisle wall. The roof requires tile replacement, and repointing is needed both externally and internally.
