Willoughby Almshouses and adjoining Boundary Wall, Church Lane, Cossall - Broxtowe
Group of eight almshouses with two projecting wings built in 1685 for George Willoughby. Brick construction with plain tile roofs. There are some open joints in the copings on the gables and at parapet level. The houses have been boarded up and would benefit from better ventilation. The interiors are suffering from damp and damp related issues. Harmful residential development proposals have been put forward.
