Building number 14, Platts Eyot, Hampton - Richmond upon Thames
Late C19 office building in stock brick with an ogee-shaped cupola, formerly with a wooden balcony. It possibly once housed electric works and a boathouse to the ground floor. Long-term solutions for this building are being discussed as part of the expected overall strategy for Platts Eyot island. Some limited damage was caused by fire in 2021. The Local Authority are seeking to secure the reinstatement of the first-floor balcony which was unlawfully removed and are also in discussions with the owners to secure repair works to the building to make it watertight.
