Church of St John the Baptist, Holland Road, Kensington W14 - Kensington and Chelsea
Early English style church dating from 1874-1911 by J Brooks and JS Atkins architects. The church has slate pitched roofs, coursed rubble walling with Bath stone dressings and a large rose window at the west end. Extensive repairs to the roofs, high level masonry and rainwater goods were completed in early 2015, grant aided by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England. Works to repair the west end roofs and masonry, grant aided by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, were completed in 2017. Further roof repairs are required.
