Church of St James, Church Lane, Little Dalby, Burton and Dalby - Melton

Parish church of coursed and squared ironstone rubble with limestone ashlar dressings. The tower was rebuilt, transepts added and the remainder remodelled by R. Brandon, 1851. A National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England Repair Grant for Places of Worship was awarded in 2009. The church was subject to heritage crime in 2019. As a result the church is at an increased risk of water ingress. The congregation is keen to effect repairs. Work is due to commence, subject to Covid-19 restrictions.
