Church of St James, Fretherne with Saul - Stroud

Church said to date originally from 1140, with elements from C15 and C16. Enlarged and restored at different times in C19. Roof coverings, which vary from stone slate on some areas to concrete tiles on others, are in very bad condition. The rainwater goods need repairing and replacing where previous patch repairs have failed. The stonework of the tower is delaminated in places.
