Church of St Rumon, Romansleigh - North Devon

Anglican parish church of 1868 by Edward Ashworth, in Decorated and Perpendicular style. Coursed and squared local rubble, slate roofs with copings. Nave, chancel, north vestry, south porch; west tower rebuilt in 1887 but using some re-used earlier material. Good stained glass of 1953 and 1959 by James Peterson (Associate of the Royal College of Art) of Bideford. Tower is damp with consequent damage and falling stone from Beer stone dressings and stringcourses. Rainwater goods also poor.
