Kingston Maurward, Stinsford - Dorset (UA)

Designed landscape around early C18 house with notable Edwardian gardens open to the public. House forms nucleus of expanding land-based college. Many post-war buildings which impact on view lines and appreciation of designed landscape. In 2011 Natural England grant-aided a restoration plan for part of the park. Further development proposals appear to have been shelved, for the present. Historic England is being consulted on a new draft masterplan to guide future development.
