Bramshill Park, Bramshill / Eversley / Mattingley - Hart

Rare early C17 gardens and contemporary house within a park of medieval origin created using the topography and habitat, whose parkland architecture remains intact despite mid-C18 and later extensions, informalisations and some fragmentation of the wider park. Previously in institutional use with numerous college buildings built in the core the estate was sold in 2014 and major development proposals subject to a recent Public Inquiry. With other changes in the wider park the significance, fabric, character, and any collective experience is vulnerable to fragmentation and loss of integrity.
