The south gate, Southgate Place. Launceston, Launceston - Cornwall (UA)

Gatehouse.C14, slightly remodelled C17, pedestrian gate added 1887. Local rubbletone walls with granite dressings. Pyramidal rag slate roof behind late C19 embattled parapet. Parapet merlons have become loose and some have been dismantled and set down in the parapet gutter for safety.
