Garden and boundary walls to Cimero, Thatchers and Wansbeck, Traps Lane - Kingston upon Thames
C17 dark red brick walls about seven feet high with tapered flange and offsets, which run along the frontage of houses along Traps Lane and enclosing the garden of 'Cimero'. The structure of the wall has been compromised by failing pointing and vegetative growth. Part of the wall collapsed in spring 2020 and repair to this stretch was carried out with Listed Building Consent. Some vegetation was removed by the Local Authority on the Traps Lane side. A separate section of the wall, between Thatcher's Cottage and Spanish Lodge, has been buttressed. Further repairs are needed.
