Highbury Hall - Birmingham
Gardens and landscaped grounds of 1879 by Edward Milner associated with a contemporary villa built for Joseph Chamberlain. Greater part of grounds a public park since early C20. The condition of the park and gardens has declined significantly. Original built landscape features and water features are in poor condition. Disrupted drainage is causing erosion and waterlogging problems. A successful phase of repair and restoration work has been undertaken with Historic England and National Lottery Heritage Fund support. A further grant from NLHF is supporting project development.
