Kidbrooke Park, Forest Row - Wealden

C18 park with extensive surviving early C19 features including a designed water system attributed to Repton and later gardens. Sold and broken up after WWII, the house was converted to a school. Development has further reduced the park and with increasing woodland cover fragmented historical design intentions such as designed views. Proposals for using the lower lake as a flood storage facility have also been explored. A 2016 Parkland Plan for the school part-funded by Natural England explored options for restoration works for tree cover management and repair of parkland architecture.
