An important mid-late C19 landscape with remains of C17/C18 pleasure grounds relating to an earlier manor house and deer park including veteran trees.of historic and natiral value Converted to a hotel and conference centre with an office complex juxtaposed between the house and lake, planning permission remains for more offices. The estate was acquired in 2014 with discussions ongoing regarding developing a sustainable long term future for the buildings, not significantly harm the prevailing qualities of the site, and renewal and repair of the landscape through an improved conservation regime.
