High Royds Hospital, Aireborough, Menston - Leeds

The grounds of an echelon-style psychiatric hospital, opened in 1888, including airing courts, sports grounds, woodland and parkland. The hospital is under conversion to residential use including extensive new build within the grounds. The historic landscape is now significantly compromised and peripheral areas neglected.
