Boundary walls to Beddington Place along east side of churchyard and along Church Lane, Church Road - Sutton

Substantial length of C16 or C17 wall of red brick with battered coping and roll moulding, with dentil course and plinth. Sections have been buttressed. The brickwork is in need of substantial repairs, including extensive repointing, replacement of damaged brickwork, and repair of buttresses. Tree growth has threatened stability and vegetation is causing further damage to the coping. The wall has suffered extensive graffiti on some sections. A first phase of works has been carried out with more planned once the ground has settled following vegetation removal.
