Former Church of St. James, now used as Puppet Theatre. C15 and C16. Flint with stone and brick dressings. Brick. Slate roofs. West tower. Nave and chancel. South aisle. South porch. The short three stage tower is supported on internal arched supports. Brick octagonal top stage. Two storey porch contained within the west end of the aisle. Four bay nave and two bay chancel. Early C16 three-bay arcade and two bay chancel arcade. Scissor-brace nave roof. Severe structural issues with masonry. C20 extension with water ingress through roof.
