Boardmans Mill at TG36941925, Ludham, Ludham, North Norfolk - Broads Authority (NP)

Boardman's Mill is a wooden 'skeleton' type and was built in 1897 to drain adjacent marshes. The wooden frame and cap have areas of rot; the sails are in a poor state and a large tree is growing in proximity, touching them. It is noted that the mill has an east to west lean, to be monitored for signs of progressive movement. Norfolk Windmills Trust, How Hill Trust and Norfolk County Council preparing grant applications for a repair and access project. Historic England Repair Grants for Heritage at Risk has been awarded and repair works are expected to commence 2024.
