Windmill, Green Lane, Old Buckenham - Breckland

A brick tower mill of 1818, now with reinstated cap and sails. Described in the Statutory List as being the largest diameter mill in England, driving five pairs of millstones with machinery that includes an unusually large crown wheel. Extensive cracking and bulging of the brickwork has been identified. Also some leakage in the cap and deterioration of timber in the crosstrees, the fantail and its frame.
