Former Hampstead Police Station, Rosslyn Hill NW3 NW3 - Camden

Former police station and courthouse including stable and harness room, railings and lamps. Built in 1913 by J Dixon Butler, surveyor to the Metropolitan Police. The building has been empty since 2013 and is now secure after illegal entry in 2014 and 2020. Applications for a proposed new use as a school were refused by the Local Authority in 2019 and were dismissed at appeal in 2020. In 2021 the building was sold and in 2022 applications were submitted to the local authority for the conversion of the stables to residential. Some unauthorised work to the stables’ roof is being investigated.
