The Keep (Armoury) to Hounslow Cavalry Barracks, Beavers Lane, Hounslow - Hounslow
Built in 1875, consisting of three storeys with four-storey staircase towers at each end and in the centre of the southwest front. Many windows retain heavy cast iron shutters with firing loops and massive bolts to the interior. The building has been unused for many years and the top storeys are now inaccessible as a result of rainwater penetration from the rooftop parapet and blockages in rainwater pipes. Currently there are no plans for repairs, and discussions on the future of the wider site are at very early stages following developer withdrawal.
