Rothwell Market House, Market Hill, Rothwell, Northamptonshire, Rothwell - North Northamptonshire (UA)

The Market House was built in 1577-78 to the designs of William Grumbold for Sir Thomas Tresham in local limestone. It was then adapted for use as Council Chambers and a Library in 1895. It was restored in 1913 and re roofed around 40 years ago. Extensive water ingress through the roof is damaging the fabric throughout the building. A repair schedule is being produced to identify roof works and other external and internal works.
