Barn and fishpond and moated site with dovecote at Church Farm, Edlesborough - Buckinghamshire (UA)
Barn and fishpond and moated site with dovecote at Church Farm. Dovecote mid-C18, a small rectangular building, each gable with four entrance holes, the east gable also having a door with rectangular barred fanlight. Red and vitreous brick, old tile roof with two queen strut trusses, one altered. Contains about 350 nesting boxes with rectangular openings and continuous brick ledges below. Dovecote at risk due to structural cracking, water ingress through the roof and proximity to the moat. A project needs to be initiated to address these issues.
