Number 8, Addington Square and attached railings SE5 - Southwark

One of a pair of early C19 houses in the Addington Square Conservation Area. The house has suffered from considerable water ingress owing to faulty rainwater goods, and there were signs of some structural movement, particularly to the porch. Listed Building Consent and Planning Permission were granted for restoration and extensive repair works to retain the property as a single dwelling. The building was sold, and a revised scheme of works consented. Works on site are nearing completion.
