Livesey Hall War Memorial, Perry Hill SE26 SE26 - Lewisham
War Memorial, designed by Sydney March, Kent; unveiled in 1920. Lifesize female figure of an angel in bronze with arms outstretched upwards and wings spread out horizontally. Bronze plaques commemorate the employees of the South Suburban Gas Company who lost their lives in World War I and World War II. It is vulnerable to heritage crime and two of the plaques are missing. Discussions are underway regarding the necessary repair works.
