Loggia in the grounds of Thames Eyot, Cross Deep, Twickenham - Richmond upon Thames

Stone loggia of nine Doric columns, probably C18, situated in the grounds of Thames Eyot, a block of 1930s flats on the bank of the Thames. The roof has suffered partial collapse and structural movement has caused distortion to the colonnade. An options appraisal was completed in 2011 but not taken forward. The freeholder has obtained Listed Building Consent to carry out temporary propping works. Amendments are now required to the scheme, and Historic England and the Local Authority are working to ensure that these are submitted and implemented with due urgency.
