The church has been closed as a place of worship since 2010. The building has since been vacant except for occasional use as a concert/recital venue by a local community group. Subject to heritage crime in 2011, a temporary solution was put in place which is now reaching the end of its effective life. A permanent solution to the long term vacancy and required repairs has not yet been found, the building condition continues to deteriorate. The building is being marketed.
