Chapel at Hall, Lanteglos - Cornwall (UA)

Site consists of walls and well-preserved bell turret of a C14 manorial chapel. Re-use as a farm building in the C19 caused modifications to the structure which still retained its original oak wagon roof until the 1960s. Conservation in the 1990s helped to stabilise the structure but now water seeping into the rear wall has built up causing it to become unstable. Scaffolding funded by Historic England in 2015 was urgently needed to save the wall from falling and remedial works were carried out in 2017 to sections of wall. Further long term measures are required to protect the ruin from decay.
