Main building at Stanley Mills, Ryeford, King's Stanley - Stroud

Woollen mill, 1813. Ancillary building (grade II) is in poor condition and part occupied. Roof repaired with Historic England grant. A proposal for repair and conservation was granted consent in 2011. The planning permission has been implemented by a commencement on the factory building. Main works to the mill are yet to begin and condition is deteriorating, particularly following recent heritage crime. This is now being investigated and temporary repairs are being pursued.
