Mausoleum, Stone Road, Trentham - Stoke-on-Trent, City of (UA)

A mausoleum built for the Dukes of Sutherland around 1808 and set opposite one of the entrances to Trentham Park. A package of urgent roof repairs were carried out with funding from Historic England and the Local Authority. Further repairs to doors and the rear window have also been completed. The fabric is now generally sound and responsibility for its upkeep has been established. The Local Authority has identified a new use for the building and has secured funding to assist with its future maintenance.
