Railings, walls, gate piers and gates to Caledonian Park, Market Road N7 - Islington

Railings, walls and gates to Caledonian Market built in 1854 (market demolished). There are major failures to the cast iron, with severe cracking in places. As part of the Caledonian Clock Tower Project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Local Authority, general repairs are proposed, with two lamps and eight animal heads to be reinstated. Works on this phase have not yet commenced. Significant further funding is required in order to reinstate all the decorative features and effect suitable repairs.
