Sisters' House and School to St Columba's Church, Kingsland Road N1 - Hackney

Anglican school and house for nuns built in 1898 to the design of James Brooks. This completed the collegiate assemblage of his church and vicarage (both separately on the Heritage at Risk register) completed in 1869. Leased to a Christian group. Full condition surveys have been carried out funded by Covid19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund grants and the Diocese of London. Urgent repairs are required to the roofs, brickwork and railings. Discussions are on-going regarding future appropriate uses and sources of funding.
