Thoby Priory ruins, Thoby Lane, Mountnessing - Brentwood

Ruined remains of Augustinian priory, founded c1150, comprising south wall of presbytery and south nave arcade. In June 2014 the local authority and Historic England engaged in pre-application dicussions regarding development in the vicinity of the building, which may provide opportunities for improved monument management.
