Kilmersdon Lodges, Kilmersdon - Somerset Council (UA)
Pair of lodges, gate piers and gates, associated with Ammerdown House, built from 1788 to 1794, situated on the edge of late C18 to early C19 park. The lodges were ruinous when listed in the 1960s and their potential for reuse is limited by their size. A feasibility study has been undertaken but the scale of the project indicated was prohibitive. A schedule of work has been undertaken to stabilise the surviving fabric; however, the building has no roof and remains vulnerable (2024).
