Barn at New Manor Farm, Broughton Lane, Bierton with Broughton - Aylesbury Vale

Five bay aisled barn, late C12 and later. Roof of early C18 queen posts hipped to the west end and half hipped to east. Barn clad in weatherboarding with a gabled C19 cart entrance to the centre of the north elevation. A historic building analysis has been carried out with Historic England grant aid. Urgent works to prop with scaffolding and provide a temporary roof covering occurred some years ago. The temporary covering and scaffolding now need to be reviewed/renewed. Historic England and the Local Planning Authority are in discussion with the owners.
