Leigh Spinners Mill, Park Lane - Wigan
Double cotton mill, 1913 with a 1923 extension, in partial use with a large steam engine in situ. Leigh Spinners Building Preservation Trust has now leased the complex. Historic England grants have enabled repairs to the engine house and in 2019 the roof of Mill 2 was made watertight. Further grant work to remove vegetation and repair the west elevation of Mill 2 has recently been completed. Mill 1 remains unoccupied Mill 2 has been brought back into use.
