Leigh Spinners Mill, Park Lane - Wigan

Double cotton mill, 1913 with a 1923 extension, in partial use with a large steam engine in situ. Sections of the roof are in urgent need of repair. Leigh Spinners Building Preservation Trust has now leased the complex. Historic England grants have enabled repairs to the engine house and in 2019 the roof of Mill 2 was made water-tight. Mill 2 is now being brought back into use.
