Cambridge Hall, Cambridge Avenue, Kilburn NW6 - Brent

Built in 1863 as St James's Episcopal Chapel. It is a prefabricated structure of corrugated iron with boarded roof covered in corrugated asbestos. Since 1920 it has been the home of the Willesden & St Marylebone Cadet Corps which converted the interior to resemble a boat, in itself of historic interest. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent were granted in 2016 for an adjacent residential building, as well as some repair works to Cambridge Hall. Discussions are underway about restoration and funding sources.
