The North Colonnade, Harrow Road, Kensal Green Cemetery W10 - Kensington and Chelsea
Built by John Griffith in 1833 to display tablets and monuments, with brick vaulted catacombs underneath. It is currently in poor condition, with damaged stone and plasterwork, encroaching vegetation, and subject to anti-social behaviour. The restoration of a sample bay has been completed, part funded by Historic England, but considerable further funding is required to complete the works. The freeholder, the General Cemetery Company, has undertaken considerable vegetation clearance in the surrounding area to minimise damage and anti-social behaviour.
