Churchill Forge, Churchill Lane, Churchill, Churchill and Blakedown - Wyre Forest
Early C19 hand forge building that made spades and shovels, comprising three brick buildings, two water wheels, a dam and large mill pond. The forge is still in working order and is managed by the Churchill Forge Trust. The Trust are continuously progressing maintenance and conservation tasks within the site and have recently completed comprehensive repair works to the spillway weir. They are exploring options to better understand the conservation management needs of the buildings within the site, and opportunities for future funding.
