Cornmill at Warwick Bridge, Warwick Bridge, Wetheral - Cumberland Council (UA)
Early C19 water powered corn mill. Significant for its intact machinery and waterwheel (dated 1843). Now in the ownership of Cultural Trust. Historic England provided grant aid towards critical repairs, completed in 2017. Funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund enabled further repairs, and the mill is now in use as a heritage centre and bakery and flour mill. Since being brought back into operation, leaks to the headrace were discovered. The spillway is unrepaired and presents a flash flood risk to the machinery. A trainee millwright has been appointed.
