Crimble Mill, Crimble Lane - Rochdale

Early C19 cotton mill, subsequently modified and enlarged. Retains rare water wheel housing. Roof and gutters are leaking and the majority of the windows are missing. Brickwork is decaying at upper levels. Signs of more rapid high level deterioration in recent years with an imminent risk of roof collapse to the main mill building. There has been a recent significant localised roof collapse towards the northern water tower, together with a collapse of a large section of walling.
