The Anglican Chapel, Harrow Road, Kensal Green Cemetery W10 - Kensington and Chelsea
1835-36 by John Griffith for the General Cemetery Company. Portland stone and stucco chapel of Greek Doric tetra style, with pavilions containing memorial sculptures. There are large catacombs below. The building is no longer in use and has suffered from water ingress. An options appraisal and updated condition survey have been carried out. Works to repair rainwater goods and replace roof coverings on the colonnades have been completed, funded by Historic England with the General Cemetery Company. Discussions on the future of the building, in conjunction with key stakeholders, are progressing.
