Hockings House Bible Christian Chapel, St. Cleer - Cornwall (UA)
Chapel dated 1846. Good interior with gallery and original fittings including leaders' pew. Separated from the small Sunday school and damaging partial conversion works preceded its sale in 2012. Negotiations with owner are sporadic and relate to the possible extent of an acceptable conversion scheme. The building deteriorated in the interim with its roof falling into a very poor state, with consequential damage occurring to the interior. Listed Building Consent was granted in 2015 for roof repairs, completed in 2017. No agreement has yet been reached on an acceptable scheme for reuse.
