Stable block and Coach House at Longford Hall Farm, Long Lane, Longford - Derbyshire Dales
Stable block circa 1760-65 attributed to the Derby architect Joseph Pickford. Red brickwork with stone dressings. Whitehurst of Derby clock on central pediment. Fine interior with Tuscan columns. Suffering loss of historic fabric and water ingress. Temporary fencing to protect public right of way was erected in 2014. Planning permission granted for conversion of adjacent farm buildings to holiday accommodation requires some repairs to the stable roof. A further planning application for business use of surrounding farm buildings was submitted. Repair work has not progressed.
