Methodist Central Hall, Corporation Street, Birmingham - Birmingham
A substantial building of 1903-4 by E. and J.A. Harper in red brick and terracotta. Ground floor has various retail uses, otherwise entirely vacant. Permission was granted in 2018 for hotel use but was never implemented. The site was purchased by new owners in early 2022. An application for conversion into several uses has been submitted to Birmingham City Council. Its condition has deteriorated following recent storms. Roof repairs have recently been undertaken by the new owners, and the building is currently secure and weathertight.
