Abbot's Staith Buildings, Water Lane, Selby - North Yorkshire Council (UA)

Possibly C16, two storey 'H' shaped plan warehouse probably built following the suppression of Selby Abbey on the former monastic lands. Mainly of magnesian limestone ashlar with some brick, under a modern concrete roof. The building is in poor condition. Historic England supported the cost of some repairs to the roof in 2019. The building has recently changed hands and we are supporting the new owners in developing a scheme for its reuse.
