The Belvedere, Claremont Park, Esher - Elmbridge

Eye-catcher and viewpoint in the form of a mock castle, 1717 by Sir John Vanbrugh. In need of repair to bring it back into use as a focal point of the Grade I Registered landscape of Claremont Park. A commitment to improving the immediate landscape surrounding the Belvedere was sought as part of a planning application made by Claremont Fan Court School for long term development. Some of the improvements have been implemented.
