Building 12 (Candidates' Club, Former Sergeants' Mess), West Camp, Main Road, A233 (east side), Biggin Hill - Bromley

Sergeants' mess, dating from 1932, built by the Air Ministry's Directorate of Works and Buildings. The building has been vacant since the RAF withdrew from Biggin Hill, the internationally renowned historic fighter base, in 1993. The Local Authority is considering action to secure works. Having met with the owner and other stakeholders, the Local Authority and Historic England are discussing ways in which they can assist in identifying new uses for the building.
