Prebends Bridge, Durham and Framwellgate - County Durham (UA)

Bridge over the River Wear designed in 1772-8 by George Nicholson for the Dean and Chapter of Durham Cathedral. A programme of remedial works, part-funded by Historic England, was completed in 2011-12. Consent for repair of flagstones and kerbing and investigation of drainage issues was granted in June 2023. Part of balustrade protected by Heras fencing still awaits a repair strategy.
